The best advice I can offer is to check out your power supply and hopefully prevent this from happening again. I tried finding an answer too and all I came across was people telling me it's gone and there's no way to get it back. Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for recovering your saved game. If yours is also below 500W, this is probably what's causing it. I only had a 450W one, so I replaced it with a 600W one and I haven't had a crash in at least another hundred hours of gameplay.
If you're computer savvy enough, I'd recommend opening up your PC and having a look at the wattage on your power supply. It turned out my computer's power supply was pushed to its limits and was causing my computer to reboot. All my structures and items were still there, but my stats had all reset. I was getting pretty regular crashes, and after one of them I found that I had the exact same issues you're having here. I was having this exact same problem and lost a saved game that I'd put a lot into.

Basically the issue I ran into was I was so far outside of the Navezgane map boundary that I was attempting to spawn into an area that was completely out of bounds (not even in the radiated area) of the Navezgane map. Going into more detail, basically the boundaries of the Navezgane map are much smaller (the distance you can travel from 0,0 until you hit the radiated zone) than in the random gen maps. Just wanted to follow up with an answer for posterity, since I know there is a large contingent of people who do this. Once I was pretty close, I tried again, and it worked perfectly.
In my Random Gen game, I put a marker at 0,0, and started running for that position. So I ended up being out of bounds for Navezgane. I was thinking about the only thing that is intrinsically different between random gen and Navezgane was the size of the map. Finally realized what the issue was here.
